Pearl Godina

Ministry and Calling

Pearl Godina currently serves Calvary Chapel of the Springs as the leader of the Janitorial team at the church, and is the spouse of Joe Godina, Worship Leader and Elder.

Pearl has been attending Calvary Chapel of the Springs since the year 2000 and has been serving the Lord for over 23 years. She was young when she initially came to the Lord, but she can honestly say she came to know Jesus Christ when she stepped into Calvary Chapel of the Springs in the year 2000.

What captured her heart to serve was her grateful heart for everything the Lord has done in her life from the day she first came to Calvary Chapel of the Springs. Her desire is to serve where God leads, and she expresses that she is beyond grateful and thankful for this ministry. Her ministry is guided by the Bible verse, Philippians 4:13: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (NKJV).

Background and Experience

Pearl has served in various capacities at the church throughout her 23 years of service, including the nursery, children’s church, and women’s ministry. Her current primary ministry role is leading the janitorial and sanitation ministry.

Pearl is a graduate of San Marcos high school. Professionally, she works as a hairdresser.

Family and Family Life

Outside of her ministry duties, Pearl loves being with her little (big) family. Her favorite hobbies and pastimes include loving to swim and loving to walk most of all. Pearl and Joe have been married for over 40 years. They have two adult children: their son, Joe’l Godina, and their daughter, Naomi Godina Nejat.
